So living in Gotham city is GREAT. Just when I thought living in a movie was finished as this city slowly moves to Phase 3, plot twists abound. I am still working on the Bali post (seems this blog may take a monthly cadence at this rate)…but wanted to give a quick life update–Colombia is regretfully off. The deep rooted instability and corruption thought to be mitigated in modern Colombia was exposed with COVID-19. Additionally, as a world traveler, and lover of cultures, I would be remiss to not acknowledge the systemic and cyclic violence against my Black brothers, sisters, and friends beyond the binary. No life matters until Black Lives Matter. While there’s a lot of educating that we all need to do, there’s also ways to help. As this is a travel and food oriented blog, I will link Black Owned Businesses to support.
